URGENT FUNDRAISER: Please help me and my family get away from our abuser
As I’m sure some of you know, I’ve been trying to raise money to move away from my father and finally fix up my family home. My mom and I are the only people working in a house of five people (and four cats) and we can’t afford to take care of everyone here and be able to move anytime soon. My father can’t keep a job, he does no chores, and he consistently eats all the food in the house (this is on top of him being a raging bigot who breaks shit around the house and has put his hands on us many times) We HAVE to get out of here and soon.
My grandmother’s home has plenty of room for all of us, but it’s falling apart: there’s mold all over the inside, several rooms have no drywall/flooring, the roof had damage that leaked water into the attic, our outdoor shed has completely collapsed, we need to replace our oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, we need to completely redo the plumbing in both bathrooms, and we need to make several adjustments to the house to make it more accessible for my grandmother as she gets older and more sick.

My granny has had five heart attacks in her life, and her heart is currently working on 25% (as stated by her doctor.) She also is a polio survivor, has fibromyalgia, and we believe going near deaf at a young age is worsening/causing her dementia. She is genuinely getting so sick and not being herself at all since my grandfather died, and I just wish I could be there for her and take care of her right now…
I haven’t been able to work as much because I’m getting physically ill from the stress of living with my father and working full time and trying to support my entire family at 21 years old. I have daily migraines now, and I’ve developed an eye twitch. I wanted to go back to college in August, but at this rate I don’t think I can. I don’t know where else to turn to, and I would appreciate help more than any of you could ever know.
We need about $2000 to be able to move in, and at least $10k for the major construction. I don’t expect to raise that much, but ANY amount helps. Seriously. Thank you so much for reading this and sharing!! 💖
